Coatesville, Pa - At the District Champs this past weekend, Dominic Harvey-Sheppard lowered his 300 hurdle freshman record yet again in the pre-lims posting 39.82 winning his heat. Mishaps prevented some of the better runners from advancing, opening the door for Dom in the finals. With top five auto-advancing to states, his 4th place (40.06) gets him through.
The hotly contested 800 saw Grayson Ruffner post the #8 Wiss All-time in 1:56.00. The time only managed to get 11th place as 15 ran faster than the state cut-off of 1:57.00, leaving 7 at home. (District One has top five auto-qualifiers, eight go if they hit the standard).
The 4x800 team of Hubert Liu, Brendan Tatko, Ralph Antonucci and Ruffner finished in 13th and Jaylen Foster also 13th in the 100M and did not advance.
