On a windy cold day Wissahickon's bats stayed like the weather. Wissahickon was getting runners on base but couldn't get them home. PW pitcher Moore stranded 8 Wissahickon runners through 6 innings. That all changed in the bottom of the 7th. With PW holding a 3-1 lead Luca Penna led off with a triple to right. Pitcher Danielle Ciliberto dropped a bunt and kept running to 2b because no one was paying attention to her. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs Katelyn Fitzgerald smacked a triple to score Penna and Ciliberto to tie the game. PW's coach decided to walk Emma Clayborne and Gracie Franczyk to set up a force anywhere. SS Charlotte Horvat singled over  infield to score Fitzgerald to win the game.

"I was talking to Lucy before she went up in the 7th. I said you are going to have to hit your way on because they have excellent bunt coverage. She agreed and went up swinging"

"Danielle had the option to bunt depending on where the 3rd baseman was playing" "She decided to drop a bunt." "Danielle also pitched a real nice game. We had a few errors that resulted in 2 runs for them but she stayed under control and pitched well."
