Wissahickon Pitchers Emma Clayborne and Danielle Ciliberto were able to keep #1 Hatboro off the Scoreboard for 6 of 7 innings. However, Hatboro was able to bunch 3 runs together in the bottom of the 5th to take the win 3-2. Wissahickon got back to back doubles from Katelyn Fitzgerald and Grace Franczyk to grab a 1-0 lead in the top of the 4th. Wissahickon left Franczyk stranded at 3rd to end the inning. The top of the 5th saw Emma Dutill lead off with a single, Maren Carter bunt Dutill to 2nd, Luca Penna push Dutill to third on an infield ball then Ciliberto singled to get Dutill home. That woke up Hatboro who came back with 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th. The big blow was Kendall Leitner's double to right center to tie the game with 2 outs. Catcher Waeltz singled Leitner home to go up 1 run. Both pitcher pitched scoreless innings to end the game. 
"It was a great game. Both teams played well. We were really focused today. The girls thought they could hang with Hatboro today after Monday  and we did. It's a great boost for our program to go toe to toe with the #1 Team in the District".
