Wissahickon lost to Gwynedd Mercy on May 9 at GMA. While it was a tough loss we fought back with smart defensive plays and better connections in the 2nd half!
For Wissahickon, Sam Intrieri scored 3 goals with 1 assist, Kelly Dickson scored 1 goal with 2 assists. Maddie Hippensteal scored 1 goal with 1 assist, Quinn Gaffey scored 1, Maggie Wurzbach scored 1, and Brooke Berry scored 1. Jaclyn Staub had 8 saves in goal for Wissahickon. Emily Purnell brought the ball out of our defensive end on a few of our more successful transitions.
Wissahickon takes on Upper Moreland at home in the Stadium tonight, and we will be celebrating our seniors.
