Boys Varsity Football vs. Martin Luther King HS School

The football team traveled to MLK on Friday for their season opener. After trailing 10-6 at the half, the Trojans showed heart and perseverance as they earned a hard fought win 20-10. The defense shutout MLK n the second half, and Rahsheed Wright came up with a big interception and Jalen Smalls provided some big hits. The offense was paced by Antaun Lloyd, who scored 1 TD and ran all over the field. John Diickson and Jalen Smalls also added rushing TD's, and the line controlled the game in the second half. It was a great team win, up next is Central HS next Friday at home (7pm kickoff). Come out and support the Trojans!
