HARRY S TRUMAN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Trojans had pretty good day at the Truman Duals on Saturday. The team went 3-2 with wins against South Philadelphia (72-11), Central Bucks West (57-18) and Bensalem (46-22) with loses to Truman (44-29) and Avon Grove (39-33). The meet with Avon Grove went down to the last match with the score tied 33-33 before Avon Grove secured the fall. Wrestlers going 5-0 on the day were; Fr. Kevin Salmon, Fr. Dan Keller, So. Brian Fennell, and Jr. Nick Senderling. Other outstanding efforts were turned in by So. Charlie Brammer (4-1), So. Mark Thompson (4-1) and Sr. Jared Taylor (3-1). The team now stands at 4-2 (1-0 in the League) on the season. Next up cross-town rival Upper Dublin on Wednesday night at home. We're looking to bring the Fireside Cup back to Wissahickon this year! I hope to see everyone there!!
