SOUDERTON AREA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Wrestling Team traveled to Souderton on Saturday to compete in the Big Red Duals. The day started out great as the team defeated perennial district powerhouse Downingtown East (currently ranked 10th in the District) 42-39. This win put us in the "winners bracket" thus we had to face the toughest teams in the tournament the rest of the day. We lost our next three meets to Woodstown, NJ (55-12), Souderton (48-25) and Unionville (51-27) ending up 1-3 on the day, but good enough for 8th place out of 16 teams. The only wrestler to go undefeated on the day was Captain Nick Senderling who is now 13-2 on the year. The team now stands at 6-5 on the season (2-0 in the league). Next up is Hatboro-Horsham at home on Wednesday night.
