The Wrestling Team traveled to Abington on Saturday to participate in the Ghostown Duals Dual Meet Tournament. Overall the team fared pretty well considering many of the wrestlers were battling nagging injuries including one wrestler not being able to participate at all. In the end, the team went 2-3 on the day - defeating Abington (52-21) and Lower Moreland (43-25) and losing to Father Judge (57-15), Malvern Prep (68-12) and Oxford (39-34). Note: Malvern Prep is the 6th ranked team in the country! And Brian Fennell wrestled the #1 ranked wrestler in the country!!  Outstanding performances were turned in by Brian Fennell who was 4-1 on the day upping his season record to 19-4. Nick Senderling went 2-0 upping his season record to 18-2. Others having good performances were; Jared Taylor 3-1, Mark Thompson 3-1, Kevin Salmon 3-1, Ben Maltin 3-2 and Charlie Brammer 3-2.  The team now stands at 11-9 on the season (4-1 in the league).  Next up our biggest meet of the year to date against Upper Moreland at Upper Moreland on Wednesday night - as a win would keep us in line for a league title.
