The team traveled to Souderton High School for the Big Red Duals. After a rough start, the Trojans came back to win their last 2 meets going 2-2 on the day. The team lost to Pennsbury 70-4 and Downington West 63-12, then defeating Hanover 48-30 and Avon Grove 42-36.
Outstanding performances were put in by Nathanael Chez (3-1), Evan Prestipino (3-1) and Ryan Lee (2-0).
Next up is cross-town rival Upper Dublin on Wednesday night at Wissahickon to compete for the Ambler/Fireside Cup. While the Trojans have won the last 4 meetings between the two teams, former Trojan (an Hall of Famer) and current Upper Dublin Head Coach, Dave Jones will bring a formable team to the Circle Gym this year. As always, it should be a fun night!
