The Wrestling team traveled to Central Bucks East for a dual meet tournament today. The way things worked out we ended up wrestling two league opponents - Abington (who we will wrestle again on Wednesday night) and Hatboro-Horsham (who we wrestled last week). Abington has a very strong team this year as evidenced by their 63-9 defeat of the Trojans. Hatboro-Horsham avenged their earlier loss by defeating the Trojans 40-36. We had beaten HH 39-36, so as it stands the total score for the two meets is 76-75 in favor of HH. The Trojans did come away with one victory defeating East Stoudsburg North, 40-35. For the record, East Stroudsburg North defeated Hatboro-Horsham 39-30 earlier in the tournament.

All in all a very good effort was put forth by our team considering we were without 5 varsity starters. Outstanding performance was put forth by Anhaad Khokhar who stepped in for injured Captain Nathanael Chez and winning 2 out of 3 of his matches both by fall, Justin Miller, Tyler Prince and Ryan Lee all going 2-1 on the day.

Next up is Abington on Wednesday night in the circle gym and then the League Tournament Saturday at Quakertown.
