The Wrestling team traveled to Quakertown for a league dual meet. While the score (75-0) cannot possibly describe the effort put forth by our team tonight, as a coach I was very pleased with our performance.

Quakertown has always been a formidable opponent, but this year they are on a different level. They are currently ranked #1 in the Region and #7 in the State. I have a lot of respect for their coach (Kurt Handel) and their program in general. Coach Handel was kind enough to tell me that things go in cycles and that he remembers the days that Wissahickon got the best of Quakertown. I’m just hoping that cycle happens again soon!

Next up William Tennent at home on Saturday at 12:00pm for our last dual meet of the season and it will be Senior Night/Day for all our seniors. I am hoping for much better results on Saturday.

Tonight reminded me that it's not really about beng better than your opponent, but rather being the best you can be. In that sense, we were successful tonight!
