Results from the Big Red Duals...While the team did go 0-4, we faced some pretty competition. Over the years, as a coach, I have sought out good competition, within reason, outside our mandatory league dual meets not necessarily easy wins because this will ultimately help the individuals when it becomes tournament time.

We started off with the #1 seed in the tournament and always tough Saucon Valley losing 53-24. Then another perennial tough team from New Hampshire Timberline losing 45-27, followed by Haverford High losing 40-30 and then Northeast High 45-24. As you can see from all the scores, we are capable of scoring 24 points or more against even the toughest of competition. As a comparison, Saucon Valley won the tournament beating the #7 ranked team in our region Springford in the finals, 48-27.

Outstanding performances were put forth by; Soph., Tyler Prince going 4-0 on the day with 4 falls. Tyler is now 15-2 on the season including 14 falls (13 in the 1st period!). Soph., Mason Carr (10-3) went 3-1 on the day with 1 fall, Sr., Nathanael Chez (14-4) went 2-1 with 2 falls, and Sr.,Tre Stubbs (10-6) went 2-1 with 2 falls.

Next up for the Trojans is a home dual meet against Abington on Wednesday night and this will be Senior Night, so please come out and support the team & our Seniors.
