A cold wet day in early September, The Trojans went down early with a beauty of a shot hitting the upper 90 served up by Quatertown just 8 minutes in. This set the tone for Wissahickon as they battled back from their defending third in the first half. The second half looked promising as the team came out stronger, with passion and voice. Our backs deserve much credit as they took better shape and started to really communicate, facilitating a shift in play to the middle and attacking third in the second half. Backs Brooke Berry, freshman Haley Reed, Kelly Dickson, and senior Victoria Selverian stepped together to move their team forward. Wiss GK Quinn Klessel also kept pace with 10 saves keeping the game within reach.

This young team is getting better everyday. The pieces are coming together, and I have no doubt that we will see the full picture in short order.
