The 45th Trojan Classic marked the beginning of the 'Championship' part of the season and the performances showed.
The freshman 3200 meter record of 9:59.74 has been hanging out there since 1979 set by Wiss Middle School's own, Coach Scott Landis. Alex tagged along with Hanson Leung (also a PR of 10:04.53) for 6 1/2 laps before making his move and looked like he had tons left in the tank at the finish, stoppin the clock at 9:57.15.
