SPRINGFIELD TWP HIGH SCHOOL: 73
The Lady Trojans hosted Springfield yesterday and continued their winning ways to bring their record to 6 wins - 0 losses. Last year the meet against the Spartans came down to the last relay but this year the team pulled ahead early and touched the wall first in every event. Highlights included a District One automatic qualifying time in the 200 IM for Karis Kim and a consideration time for Katie Sapoznikov in the 200 free.
Individual winners included: Katie Sapoznikov in the 200 and 500 yard Freestyles, Karis Kim in the 200 IM and 100 Fly, Kelly Wild in the 50 Free and 100 Back, Liliana Xu in the 100 Free and Maddy Hippensteal in the 100 Breaststroke. The winning relay members included: Julia Weiss, Maddy Hippensteal, Karis Kim and Liliana Xu in the 200 Medley Relay and Kelly Wild, Liliana Xu, Ellie Alberti and Katie Sapozhnikov in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
The final score was Wissahickon 97, Springfield 73.
