On Friday afternoon, the Wissahickon Girls' swim team headed to Hatboro Horsham with a 6-0 record ready to face a strong Hatter team. After last year's 28 point loss, a strong team effort was going to be needed if the undefeated streak was to remain intact. The girls stepped up their game, winning ten of the first eleven events but due to the Hatters' depth were only up by two points heading into the final event. Once again, it would come down to whoever won the 400 Freestyle relay. The girls gave it their all and pulled away to win the race by three seconds and also win the meet!

Highlights included:

-Individual wins by Karis Kim in the 200 and 500 Freestyles, Carly Zlotnikoff in the 200 IM (with an automatic District One Championship qualifying time) and 100 Freestyle, Katie Sapozhnikov in the 100 Butterfly, Kelly Wild in the 100 Backstroke, Maddy Hippensteal in the 100 Breaststroke and Tess Klugerz in Diving (with a District One Championship qualifying score).  

-Relay wins in the 200 Medley (Kelly Wild, Maddy Hippensteal, Katie Sapozhnikov, Carly Zlotnikoff), 200 Freestyle (Kelly Wild, Liliana Xu, Karis Kim and Carly Zlotnikoff) and 400 Freestyle (Katie Sapozhnikov, Liliana Xu, Julia Weiss and Karis Kim).

The final score was Wissahickon 94.5 to  Hatboro Horsham 90.5.
