On Tuesday, the final home swim meet at the Wissahickon Middle School pool was held against Plymouth Whitemarsh. The girls started off strong with a win the in 200 MR and went on to win all but one event. A fun unofficial event - the 200 Mixed Freestyle relay - was added at the conclusion of the regular meet. While PW won this, every senior attending the meet was able to race in the final HS swim event held at the middle school. The team is looking forward to racing in the new pool at the HS next year!

Highlights included:

-Individual wins by: Karis Kim (200 yard freestyle, 500 yard freestyle), Carly Zlotnikoff (200 yard IM, 100 yard freestyle), Kelly Wild (50 yard freestyle, 100 yard backstroke), and Katie Sapozhnikov (100 yard butterfly).

-Relay wins in the 200 yard medley (Wild, Maddy Hippensteal, Sapozhnikov, Liliana Xu), 200 yard freestyle (Kim, Julia Weiss, Xu, Zlotnikoff) and 400 yard freestyle (Zlotnikoff, Kim, Sapzhnikov, Wild).

- The dual meet season ended with record of 10 wins and just 1 loss.

The final score was Wissahickon with 99 points to PW's 71 points.
