Friday night, the Wissahickon Girls' Swimming and Diving Team won the Upper Merion Relay Carnival. The following relays placed first:
4 x 100 IM: Karis Kim, Jaclyn Staub, Maddie Johnson and Katie Sapozhnikov
Upperclass 200 Free: Julia Weiss, Jaclyn Staub, Karis Kim and Katie Sapozhnikov
200 Butterfly: Karis Kim, Maddie Johnson, Jaclyn Staub and Katie Sapozhnikov in a time that smashed the 21 year old record by nearly a second
Crescendo: Julia Ronca, Julia Weiss, Katie Sapozhnikov, Maddie Johnson and Becca Valentine
Mixed: Julia Weiss and Karis Kim teamed up with Anthony Schoppe and Griffen Bowers from the Wiss Boys' Team to easily win the final event of the night in deciding fashion
The girls start their regular dual meet season on Tuesday at home against William Tennent.
