The Wissahickon Girls' Swim and Dive Team started off with a commanding win against William Tennent in their first dual meet of the season. They finished first in all but one event and placed 1-2 in 9 events, including three 1-2-3 finishes.

Highlights:

-Tess Klugerz earned a District One Qualifying score and broke both the team and pool records in the diving event.

-Katie Sapozhnikov won the 100 fly in an automatic D1 Qualifying Time, was a member of two winning relays (200 Medley and 200 Free), and earned another auto D1 QT in the 100 free as well as a consideration time in the 50 free while leading off relays

-Maddie Johnson won two individual events (200 IM, 100 free) and was part of the winning 200 Medley Relay

Other individual winners were: Karis Kim (200 fr), Jaclyn Staub (50 fr) , Kayla Hartzel (500 fr), and Julia Ronca (100 br).

Congrats to the girls on a great win. The next meet is home against Upper Merion on Thursday.
