PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH HIGH SCHOOL: 98
On Tuesday, the Wissahickon Girls hosted Plymouth Whitemarsh. While the Wiss girls won half of the events and swam many personal best times, P-W had a bit more depth and bested Wiss by ten points.
Highlights included:
Sarah Pickel winning the 200y Free in a dual meet personal best time.
Maddie Johnson winning the 200y IM also in a dual meet personal best and Bernice Fu placing second.
Brynn Remar and Gabby Jones going 1-2 in the 500y Free both in dual meet best times.
Ava Walters winning the 100y back in yet another dual meet personal best.
Johnson and Fu going 1-2 once again, this time in the 100y Breast, and Faith Pigeon dropping over 2 seconds to break the 1:20 barrier.
Finishing up the meet with a strong win in the 400y Free Relay (Pickel, Remar, Johnson, Walters).
The next meet will be Tues 1/24 at home against Springfield.
