MOUNT ST. JOSEPH ACADEMY: 86
The Wiss girls hosted The Mount as part of a tri-meet with Cheltenham. The Trojans won nine of the twelve events and came away with a 100-86 victory.
Highlights:
The 200y Medley Relay of Rachel Le, Maddie Johnson, Ava Walters, and Sarah Pickel smashed the old team record and earned a solid District One Championship Qualifying Time in their win.
The 200y Freestyle Relay of Sarah Pickel, Bernice Fu, Brynn Remar, and Maddie Johnson beat The Mount by over 2.5 seconds in a victory.
Sarah Pickel won both the 200y Free and 500y Free events in personal best times.
Maddie Johnson won both the 200y IM and 100y Breaststroke events.
Ava Walters won both the 100y Fly and 100y Back events.
Brynn Remar and Rachel Le went 1-2 in the 100y Free.
This was the final meet of the regular season. League swimming championships will be held on Friday February 10th at Wissahickon while diving championships will be held Wednesday February 8th.
