NORTH PENN HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The Wissahickon Trojans faced league opponent, and defending State Champions, North Penn Tuesday September 12th at home. North Penn came out strong and finished hard to seal the victory 12-5, but the Trojans did not go down quietly! Junior Goalie Caitlin Valentine tallied 14 saves in the match and solid defensive play was contributed by Sophomore center defender Anna Alberti and Junior Sophia Tsiobikas. Freshman Becca Valentine scored with :5 remaining with the assist coming from her sister. Sophomores Chloe Lovensheimer and Jackie Bauer each tallied two goals in the effort. The Trojans are back in action tomorrow against Penn Charter!
