Wissahickon Girls Varsity Water Polo defeated Springfield by 5 on Tuesday, winning 11-6. A balanced offensive attack led by Anna Forde had the trojans up by 3 at halftime and a strong third quarter broke the game open. Forde notched 3 goals, Bernice Fu added a pair and goals were also scored by Cate Kroznuski, Casey Burden, Michelle Yang, Maddy Radell and Faith Pigeon. Defensively, Pigeon had 6 steals, Radell & Burden each had two, Fu, Kroznuski and Syd McGinley eacch added one. Goalkeeper Mia Bananis stopped 10 shots to earn the win. The Trojans hit the road again, tomorrow to take on rival Upper Dublin.
