Congratulations to eighteen girls from the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track team who to traveled to Lehigh University for their first meet of the season. Several members of the team placed well enough to medal including Senior Maddy Hippensteal who placed 4th in the 400 meters with a time of 61.61, Senior Maya Ansbro who placed 4th in the Pole Vault clearing 8-06, Sophomore Kasi Brown who placed 5th in the High Jump clearing a height of 5-1, and the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Leike Black, Jenna Saunders, Julia Keller and Maddy Hippensteal who placed 6th with a time of 4:19.33. Maddy Hippensteal, Maya Ansbro and Kasi Brown all met qualifying standards to compete in the Meet of Champions held in February.
