Congratulations to the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team for their performances at Alvernia University this past weekend where they competed against 72 other teams. Several Trojan runners were medal winners placing in the top 6. Jessica Palish placed 6th in the 200 meters running a 27.29, and Mila Jovanovic placed 5th in the 400 meter run in 61.74 seconds, fast enough to qualify for the Meet of Champions. The 4 by 200 meter relay team consisting of Mila Jovanovic, Alexa McCabe, Emma Jovanovic and Jess Palish placed 6th with a time of 1:54.28. The team with compete next week in the Robert Burdette Indoor Classic at Lehigh University on Wednesday, December 29th.
