Girls Varsity Indoor Track vs. Multiple Opponents

The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team had many strong performances at Lehigh University on Friday evening January 27th. One of the highlights of the night included Mila Jovanovic’s 1st place finish in the 400 meter run. Mila’s time of 60.42 seconds was fast enough to qualify her for the State Championship meet. In addition, the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Laila Cottom, Ellie Ratka, Kenya Williams, and Mila Jovanovic placed 3rd running a 4:12.98, less than 2 seconds shy of the State Qualifying Standard. Up next - the Consolation Meet at Glen Mills this Friday, February 3rd and the Ocean Breeze Invitational in Staten Island, NY on Sunday February 5th.
